2 Marketing Strategies That You Can’t Go Wrong With
Jan 28th
If you didn’t already know, there are some offline marketing tips that can really blow the lids of your sales and profits. I would know, because I have been using these techniques to make alot of money in my business, and I’m willing to bet that you would like to get your hands on these strategies so that you can become profitable too.
Luckily, I will share some of these techniques in today’s article for you. The first thing that you need to know is that success won’t come overnight. Some of these techniques will drive customers into your store almost immediately, while most of the strategies will take some time because you have to be patient as you get your marketing message out to the world.
So what are some of these marketing strategies that I am talking about? Well I’m glad you asked. Let’s take a look at a great technique that can improve sales simply and easily everyday.
1) Joint ventures
Joint venture marketing is a great way to get sales for free. Plus, you can earn alot of money in the process. If you’re a relatively new business owner, then you should know that your business can be launched via the use of joint ventures. If you want to go down this route, make sure you have pinpointed a similar business in your area, and make sure you write a good proposal letter to get them interested in the deal. Here’s another technique that can improve your sales and profits.
2) Direct mail
Direct mail has been around for a long time now, but very few people are using it to their advantage. Direct mail is still alive and kicking, and has no intentions of going out of style soon. As long as the post office stays in business, direct mail will be here for the long haul.
So how can you use direct mail efficient for you? Well, one of the best ways to use direct mail is to keep in contact with your customer list. If you’re currently not reaching out to your customers using direct mail, then you’re missing out on a huge opportunity for getting them back into your store to buy from you again.
It doesn’t matter what your business is. You too can stand to benefit from direct mail marketing. It doesn’t matter if you’re a brick and mortar store, if you own a practice, or even if you’re a mail order vendor – you all can stand to make money from using direct mail.
Even though direct mail is relatively expensive, you can still make money with it. Instead of sending out a letter, consider using a postcard instead. Your postcard should include short tidbits about what it is that you’re trying to sell them, and to get them to take an action of some sort.
Hopefully you will use these tips to make more money in your business sooner rather than later. These 2 ideas alone will have you busy for a short while, all while helping you to boost your sales and profits at the same time.
Good luck with using these tips to make more money in your business.
Keyword Research – How to Blow Away Your Competition
Sep 27th
Keyword research forms the basis of ALL your SEO.
Think about it… you use your keywords in every aspect of online marketing:
TitlesDescriptionsAll site content, headers, and tagsInbound linksArticle syndicationBusiness listingsProfilesSocial media – Facebook, Twitter, et alVideo syndication
This makes keyword research extraordinarily important!
-> But how much time do you spend on actual research?
-> What tools do you use?
-> Or do you guess?
There are a lot of keyword tools on the market, or you can simply use the Google Keyword Tool like millions of other people. Which means you’ll be using the same keywords to rank your site as millions of other people. That makes competition pretty rough.
A New Keyword Tool
I’ve discovered a keyword tool that will save you hours of time while giving you a whole new universe of highly searched keywords to use. It’s not free, but it is quite inexpensive and will pay for itself in no time. Don’t take my word for it – watch the video – I was sold on Keyword Gem halfway into it. But watch all the way through, because you’ll get a terrific tip towards the end that you won’t want to miss.
You’ll still want to check your new keywords in Google’s Keyword Tool. Your newly discovered keywords will not have as many searches as the more generic keywords, but you’ll probably never be able to rank for those anyway. You may as well be realistic and use keywords for which you can get Google search rankings. This tool will help you find those more achievable, and more targeted, keywords.
How to Utilize Facebook Marketing As a Part of Your Overall Strategy
Aug 27th
Marketing on the net is as easy as pie these days. So if you want to have a good promotion plan, you should know how to utilize Facebook as a part of your operation. Facebook is a place without social boundaries and you, as a marketer who aspires to do an effective advertising plan, must utilize it at all cost.
So just how do you use Facebook as a marketing edge? There are a number of steps you have to follow:
1. First, your profile must be a blow off. Nobody wants a boring person to sell or even advertise their products. Create an eye-candy profile that would at least get you 300 people, not unless you already have that many. Make it a public account that everyone can see or, if you are uncomfortable with this, make a separate account for the business you will market. Remember, DON’T LIE about your product. You’ll get to expose your business to your network so anything you post should be legitimate.
2. Here is where it gets interesting. In order to understand how to utilize Facebook as a part of your overall internet campaign, the next step that you should take into consideration is how your potential customers are going to view your profile. Your can either make your profile the home base or make a group that introduces the merchandise. After which, be creative! It is suggested that you make an introduction video, upload it then tag as many friends as you could. Tag them so they feel that they have a more personal relationship with your merchandise. Post notes and messages on their walls. Don’t overdo it though, as they might get annoyed and the plan will backfire.
3. From this point on, give the profile or group a distinguishable character. Make it as if you are making a brand yourself – invite all your friends and close network relationships in the account. In everything you do or post in the site, tag most (not all) people in an activity and another in other activity – this way, they can even have a sense of distinction among them as customers. You should state though, when you are asked, that there is no particular distinction among them unless you are also promoting some kind of privilege along with the merchandise.
4. Do events. There is nothing more personal for a customer in your campaign than inviting them to events. Whenever possible, gather the people you have in your account to celebrations that involve your merchandise like your grand opening or store/branch opening. From anniversaries to just weekend parties – invite them and they’ll patronize your product.
5. Align yourself with partners. A great way to increase your network is through listing other business partners in your Facebook account. Send them e-mails or some sort of weekend notes to keep them updated on what’s up in your business. Purchase ads on Facebook while you’re at it to increase your exposure.
That’s how to utilize Facebook as a part of your overall internet campaign. Remember this: your marketing campaign is only limited by your imagination and will power. Facebook is a networking site with so many applications and it’s your job to figure out the tricks of the trade.
